2022.01.28 17:00 Analog0 [PubQ] Packing multiple genres in a query
What's the best way to consolidate cross-genres in a query, eg. sci-fi/paranormal/mystery/comedy? Is it best to label it cross-genre, focus on the most prominent genre(s) or what's most appealing to the agent? I've got a few genres criss-crossing one another, but I don't want to clog my query up with a chain of forward slashes.

2022.01.28 17:00 GenCorona3636 What's the point of using the backends in Qiskit? They don't do actual quantum computation
I just started working with Qiskit for fun, and I thought I'd be able to submit jobs to IBM Q. But instead it comes with all these backends that "simulate" what a quantum computer would do. If that's the case, what's the point of working with these backends? If you can just "simulate" what a quantum computer would do, why would you need a quantum computer? And if you can't simulate what a quantum computer would do, what can you actually learn from using these backend? I really want to learn, but I'm confused as to what exactly can be done with these backends atm.

2022.01.28 17:00 EarthWarping [Stein] Teams don't believe Daryl Morey is bluffing about keeping Benjamin Simmons
I can’t find a team out there these days that believes Morey is bluffing about keeping Simmons past the deadline to A) first make what sounds to outsiders as a rather hopeless attempt to convince Simmons to rejoin the team for a playoff drive and B) more importantly retain Simmons to offer him as the centerpiece of offseason trade pitches for the likes of Portland’s Damian Lillard, Washington’s Bradley Beal, Boston’s Jaylen Brown and, of course, Brooklyn’s James HardenSource: https://marcstein.substack.com/p/the-new-latest-trade-winds?token=eyJ1c2VyX2lkIjoxNjkxNTY4LCJwb3N0X2lkIjo0NzgyODI5MCwiXyI6ImNXK3J5IiwiaWF0IjoxNjQzMzkyNTUyLCJleHAiOjE2NDMzOTYxNTIsImlzcyI6InB1Yi0zOTIyMDUiLCJzdWIiOiJwb3N0LXJlYWN0aW9uIn0.YjjLL08BIqEaV9bi2FMcplD9xm_sVtIWBFet3TP9FYk

2022.01.28 17:00 okayfineacceptable Universal Search wildcards?
I have a client with a DS418 running the latest DSM (7.0.1-42218 update 2), and I'm running into an odd problem searching inside files. The NAS is connected to a network of Macs that need to search inside text files, so I've added the appropriate shares as indexed folders in Universal Search (because spotlight/mds on the Mac can't index shares on a NAS). End users can search for file names from the Finder on their client machines, and they can search inside files for strings of integers (e.g., "4905") which will bring up results without any problems at all. However, if they're looking for, say, "RMA4905" then a search for "4905" will not bring up any results - neither will using an asterisk as a wildcard (e.g., "*4905").
This seems to happen whether "Document" is selected in Indexed File Content or not. I've also unchecked the "Skip numeric characters when indexing file contents" as well - and likewise that doesn't seem to have made a difference.
The files concerned are all either .txt or .rtf text files.
For now I've set some folks up with the Synology Drive Client and have them just using that instead of the network share - which isn't ideal, but does allow spotlight on the Mac to index those files so that they can pull the results they need out of a search.
I'm pulling my hair out on this, and that's unfortunate because I didn't have that much to work with...

2022.01.28 17:00 herewegoyetagainx2 Case: External Account Transfers
New to the world of AML and my company's training on the topic was......not the best, to say the least. So I've been kind of working through cases based off of common sense and according to policies as best I can. Anyway, my question is as the title suggests: external account transfers. More specifically, how do you handle a case where an account at your institution was just opened, there's an external account transfer (both accounts owned by the party you're researching), but the funds are significant and don't seem to match the profile? Because I was told not to assume, I don't want to "assume" that they just already had the funds on hand, though my research sometimes leads to nothing, and this just may be the case...

Has this happened to anyone? You’re currently doing an order and you’re tapping on your screen to adjust the map or to text the customer, and then out of nowhere another delivery pops up and you accidentally accept it because you were in the middle of interacting with the screen in that moment?

2022.01.28 17:00 mujasad Has anyone with the Free Lines from 2016 cancelled any of their prior paid lines?
I want to cancel one of my paid lines from when we opened our account. We bought the 4 for $120 SC plan, and added on another line for $20. A total of 5 lines.
Then added the 2 Free Phone and Data Lines from the 2016 Promos.
I want to cancel one of our original paid lines, but want to know what will happen to our free lines. There are conflicting answers on here as well as other forums.
Everyone knows that the fine print for the 2016 Promo says you lose the free lines, but have seen very few actual user results from trying. A couple people seemed to have kept their lines anyways. Want to know for sure what will happen.
Looking for data points only on people who have actually done this. Thanks!
